A high level of activity with a frequency from .02 to .043 hertz was observed starting at 07:29:35. The large size quake ocurred at 16:06 UTC. Precurser signals were recorded 516 minutes, or 8.6 hours before the event.
The geomagnetic field has been very quiet the past 18 hours, with no solar flares, X-rays or magnetic anomalies. This is one of the most profound recordings of ULF signals, preceding a large earthquake, we have yet recorded.
