The "S" indicator points to the time of the actual event as recorded by seismologists. The "P" indicator points to the time of the first detected high amplitude transient chain in the frequency range from .02 to .04 hertz. The time at this point was 127 minutes prior to the earthquake. The full stage alert occurred at 100 millivolts amplitude, peak to peak and occurred at 08:14:47 which was 92 minutes before the earth movement.
